Bangladeshi e-Passport Application Process: Step-by-Step Guide

📌 Step 1: Verify e-Passport Availability in Your Region

Before initiating your application, ensure that e-passport services are available at your local passport office. You can check the availability by visiting the official e-passport portal: epassport.gov.bd .

📝 Step 2: Complete the Online Application Form

  1. Access the Online Portal: Navigate to epassport.gov.bd and select “Apply Online.”
  2. Create an Account: Register using your email address and set a secure password.
  3. Fill Out the Application: Provide accurate personal information, ensuring consistency with your National ID (NID) or Birth Registration Certificate (BRC).
  4. Select Passport Type and Delivery Option:
    • Booklet Type: 48 pages or 64 pages.
    • Validity: 5 years or 10 years.
    • Delivery Mode: Regular, Express, or Super Express.
  5. Schedule an Appointment: Choose a convenient date and time for biometric data submission.
