BPO stands for Business Process Outsourcing, BPO is a growing sector worldwide with an industry worth over $500 Billion pent-up demand. India, Srilanka, and the Philippines are currently leading the worldwide BPO industry where their market sizes are worth $140 billion, $3 billion, and $22 billion respectively.

Nowadays there are so many organization has started looking for a BPO because of its different level of Benefits. For example, a bank wants to start 24/7 Customer support for its customers over the phone and online. For this customer support bank hired a firm that will provide customer support to that bank’s customer. You might have heard about this kind of business contract before. BPO is likely to do the same.

Definition of BPO:

Business process outsourcing (BPO) is a subset of outsourcing that involves the contracting of the operations and responsibilities of a specific business process to a third-party service provider.

The trend of Call Center started in 2008 with a few local companies in Bangladesh. During that time only 300 employees were working in those companies. Now in 2016 more than 100 companies are involved with 30,000 employees and expecting 200000 Job placement in 2021. Bangladesh has a large population. Around 50% of the total population is below 25 years. Around 65% of the total population are below 35 Years. From the statistics, we can find that out of the total population, 2/3 is a youth who is already involved somehow with new technology. Bangladesh is in a positive direction, a large number of our young people are in some way associated with technology.
